This weekend Matthew and I went to Pine Mountain, Georgia for Andy and Joy’s wedding weekend. This was our first wedding shooting as a duo (no small feat considering Matthew was also a groomsman) and I’m thrilled with the images we captured together. You may remember Andy and Joy from their couple’s session last summer, which I ended up taking a few short weeks before they actually got engaged.
The wedding was at Callaway Gardens which is a huge park here in Georgia that has all sorts of fun stuff to do. We visited the butterfly center and the horticulture gardens on the wedding day and had a great time. There were several children involved in Andy and Joy’s wedding and that gave us the opportunity to get some great children’s shots as well as wedding shots (maybe I got just a little carried away with them…)
Have a look!
Little Miss B LOVED the butterfly gardens!
Check out Little Miss M's baby blues!
Little Miss C checking out those below her at the Butterfly Gardens

Love this one of Joy's veil and dress!
The Ceremony was in the Discovery Center at Calloway Gardens
I'd finished their portraits and was running to do the next thing and happened to turn around and snap this.
The Newlyweds!
One benefit of working with my husband is I can get these shots of me in action now There are several other benefits of course!
Another benefit of having Matthew as my partner in photography...He gets sweet shots of the groom while getting ready like this!
Detail of Joy's Dress.
Andy programmed this into the car and I thought it was so cute.
The Groom!
Another great detail shot by Matthew...Flats are essential to any bride's happiness on the wedding day!
Joy's cousin Greg about to give her away. Love this. Just love it.
As you can imagine, my mom is a follower of this blog. With every additional graduation shoot I posted, she got more and more antsy… “Who’s going to take YOUR graduation pictures?”
Then a few days later…”I’d like graduation pictures of YOU! When will that happen?”
Finally, Matthew and I gave in and had a joint photo session at school the day before actual graduation. I did his pictures and he did mine. I think he did such a nice job. He’s learned so much so fast and he makes me so proud! I’m excited to have him as my assistant at the wedding we’re shooting at Calloway Gardens in 2 weeks. He’s also a groomsman in the wedding, so I’m sure he’ll be able to capture some awesome behind the scenes stuff.
Without any further ado, here are some pictures from the Enslein Graduation Shoot
I hope you enjoy them mom!
The only one of us together...Even if it is only my shoe.
Today I had a great time taking Sunny’s graduation pictures at school! You may remember Sunny from her engagement shoot from a while back… Sunny was willing to take pictures jumping for joy about graduating, and we had a lot of fun with those Check it out!
Her pearls once belonged to her grandmother... I thought they were such an elegant and meaningful touch
By now, you know that graduating from law school is quite exciting!
If you're really excited about something, you jump. I love that Sunny took the happy to graduate shot to the next level!
Sunny requested a shot like this...I think it makes her curls look so lovely.
Matthew and I had been talking about going to DC for a while, and we finally made it happen. We stayed with friends in Alexandria, VA for most of our trip and we also spent a night in Baltimore visiting family and friends. We had a wonderful time, even though the drive was 10 hours each way!! Thankfully, I have an amazing husband who drove the whole way and let me nap occasionally in the car Here are some pictures from our trip.

Bones of some ancient animal...I forget which one.

Matthew was taking my picture and this happy toddler wandered into the picture. I love it for so many reasons, but if I explain them, you'd think I was weird.
The obligatory picture in front of the White House
Matthew and his cash in front of the Treasury Department...The idea was funnier in my head.
My friend Ashley (and her mom) got wind of the graduation special and signed right up. We had a fun time at the photo shoot, and only felt slightly bad that we were running around in the library taking pictures while the 1Ls and 2Ls were studying for finals. Luckily for the quiet-seeking studiers, it was a gorgeous day and we spent most of the time outside. Check it out!
Unless you also went to law school, you cannot understand how great it is to be done!!
There were many times (mostly during exams) that I thought this law school thing would never end. Coming to law school changed my life, and that’s not an exaggeration. The first day of school I met the man that would become my husband (although I sure didn’t know it then) and I love the path my life has taken since then. I’ve made great friends, and learned all kinds of lessons that have nothing to do with the law.
My former roomate and dear friend Afiya asked me to take pictures of her in her cap and gown, and I was happy to oblige. It’s always way easier to take cap and gown pictures before actual graduation day, when everyone and their mother (literally) is scrambling for some snapshots to remember the day.
It’s been three years to the day since I graduated from FSU, and the photo shoot today reminded me of the pictures my friends and I took before graduation. My little sister in the sorority actually took the picture, and it’s one of my favorites
Me and two of my best friends before graduating from FSU. I'm the one on the right. We're all married now, and were bridesmaids in each other's weddings None of us had met our husbands yet at the time of this picture. It's a great reminder of how life can change so much in a short amount of time.
Enough with the reminiscing… Onto to some pictures from today!
If you like the pictures and want your VERY OWN graduation pictures taken by The Studio B Photography, you’re in luck! I’ve decided to run a graduation special for only $75. That’s $100 off the regular price for portrait sessions!!
You KNOW that your parents will love this! So much so, they’ll probably even agree to pay for it!

Vy is the precious 9 month old granddaughter of one of my professors at law school. Speaking of law school, next week is our last week of law school EVER! We’ll be graduating in May and then going into hibernation to study for the bar. It’s going to be so weird not being a full time student and having the year divided into semesters and summers. However, I think after reaching the 19th grade, I’ve been in school long enough!
Vy’s photo shoot had the distinction of being the first with my BRAND NEW CAMERA!! I was finally able to upgrade and am so excited!! Vy’s grandparents (both professors at the law school) and her parents were there for the photoshoot and were all a great help in changing her into several cute outfits and keeping her entertained. She was such a well behaved baby!
Here are some of my favorites from the day:
I think this is my absolute favorite from the day...That little hand KILLS me!
Vy and her mommy I think this one really captures how a baby is amazed by all the little things in the world, and I love that her mom is looking at what Vy is looking at with the same fascination.
Vy and her daddy. I can tell you from experience, you never grow out of being a daddy's girl. It's okay, all the dads of the world don't mind.
Vy and her grandma.
Vy and her Grandpa
There are always good flowers to be found at the park. These happened to be fake.
A freshly scrubbed baby! Yay!
What a happy girl!
Before she tried to eat the flowers.
She was unsure what to think about the grass on her skin. I don't think she was a fan.
The whole group!
Now that we don't have Bella anymore, I brought Lucky to amuse Vy. It took a while, but eventually she warmed up.
We did it! We’re finally Mr. and Mrs. Enslein! The wedding was absolutely fantastic and everything went very smoothly. Most important of all, I got to marry my best friend, my darling Matthew I obviously couldn’t take my own pictures that day, but I managed to get in one picture of my bouquet with my own camera in all the chaos of the day.
While it might seem to be a simple arrangement of flowers, it was actually quite meaningful to me. My grandmother passed away two years ago, at the seasoned age of ninety-seven. The ribbon around my flowers was the same ribbon that wrapped her wedding bouquet when she married my grandfather over fifty years ago.
After we were married we went to the Excellence Playa Mujeres Resort in Mexico. We flew into Cancun, and took a quick 40 minute ride over to the resort. I’d done quite a bit of research on the place before we got there, but no review or pictures could do the place justice. It was such a pleasure to stay there for six days, and the only thing we disliked about it was leaving. Our room was amazing, it was two stories and the top floor was comprised entirely of an outdoor deck complete with two lounging beds and a private pool. The resort was truly all inclusive with all food, drink, and even gratuity taken care of before you ever set foot on the property. The honeymoon was the complete opposite of what the wedding weekend had been. No stress, no schedule, and just us. It was spectacular, and we can’t wait to go back.
Now, for some pictures of our vacation in heaven! The ones that I’m in were taken my by talented and handsome hubby and edited by me
The in room hot tub was decorated with roses when we arrived!
Our well appointed bar
The swans that greeted us upon arrival
My handsome HUSBAND!!
Our pool and one of our lounging beds
This. Is. The. Life.
Some of the delicious desserts from the Barcelona restaurant which featured an amazing buffet of all the indulgences you could ever desire!
Lounging in the hammock over the lazy river. My book and my strawberry daiquiri were a short distance away!
A more accurate sign would read "This way to delightful food and poolside cocktails!"
The X-lounge...A bar comprised of beds on the beach. Genius!
Late afternoon on the beach
The gazebo at night time from our porch
Matthew hates cheesy things like this, but he humored me
Leaving the resort to go back home. We're not smiling on the inside because we want to stay.
I think I’ve blogged more this March than any month thus far! I’ve had the time to take pictures lately, and I’ve been loving it!! The IT guy at our law school contacted me about taking nine month pictures of his darling daughter Brooklyn. After several days of rain, the skies cleared and we had a fun time on a gorgeous day at the park this weekend!
I’ll be away for a bit…I’m getting MARRIED this weekend to my wonderful fiance Matthew! Next time I blog, I will be Mrs. Enslein I hope to get some shots of my own throughout this wedding weekend, and of course on the honeymoon. Stay tuned!
Look at those baby blues! Amazing!
While distracted with snacks, I was able to tuck a flower behind her ear
Proud parents watching their baby eat
I love tiny baby hands, they're so cute!
Hungry little one
After her bottle, she was all smiles!
One of the best parts of taking children's pictures is all the bright colors that accompany them!
